Only 3 were alive on arrival the others were dried out and shriveled up. I did email and send pictures after their arrival, but with no response. The 3 that survived did well and we enjoy watching them turn into butterflies.

Hello and thank you for reaching out. Based upon the observed emergence rate and health of the butterflies which did emerge, I would not order again. From the entire native mix, only four butterflies emerged in a healthy state (1 Queen, 1 Gulf fritillary (which is not really native to NJ, and 2 Pipevines). One Monarch and 2 Queens emerged with OE incapable of flight. The remainder have still not emerged. I assume they won’t at this point. The second shipment of mixed swallowtails have not emerged yet either but, it has only been two weeks. - Chris

I received 5 big beautiful chrysalises. The size was surprising as I was expecting much smaller! And the beauty of both the chrysalis and the butterflies that emerged was such an amazing thing to witness. Gorgeous!
