Refund policy

🦋 JMZ Butterfly Farm Return & Refund Policy

Because we ship live insects, we have a unique return and refund policy to ensure fairness to all customers while protecting the health of our butterflies and moths.

Returns

  • We do not accept returns on any live caterpillars, chrysalises, or moth eggs.

  • Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled or returned due to the perishable nature of our products.

Refunds & Replacements

  • We offer refunds or replacements only if:

    • UPS Next Day Air was selected

    • The insects arrive dead on arrival (DOA)

    • You contact us within 1 hour of delivery with clear photos of the issue

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds or replacements are not available if:

  • The package was delivered but left outside in extreme conditions

  • No one was home to receive the package upon delivery

  • The package was delayed due to incorrect address, UPS error, or weather

  • The insects die due to improper care after arrival

Preorders

  • Preorders are non-refundable once placed, as they reserve stock for you.

Chargebacks

  • Fraudulent chargebacks will be disputed with proof of shipment and delivery.

  • If ANY ORDER (Fulfilled or Not) Is disputed - there will be a $60 Chargeback Fee as that is what we are charged.
