🦋 JMZ Butterfly Farm Shipping Policy

At JMZ Butterfly Farm, we take great care in shipping your live caterpillars, chrysalises, and moth eggs so they arrive healthy and ready for their journey with you.

Shipping Methods

  • We ship using UPS Next Day Air and UPS 2nd Day Air to ensure the fastest, safest delivery.

  • Orders are only shipped Monday through Wednesday to prevent live insects from being held over weekends.

Order Processing

  • Orders placed after 3:30 PM EST will be processed on the next shipping day.

  • Preorders will ship during the week they are scheduled to hatch or pupate.

Live Arrival Guarantee

  • We guarantee live arrival only when UPS Next Day Air is selected.

  • If there are any issues, you must contact us with photos within 1 hour of delivery to get a refund/replacement.

  • If the package is left outside, delayed due to customer unavailability, or exposed to extreme conditions, the guarantee is void.

Delivery Instructions

  • Please ensure someone is home to receive the package upon delivery.

  • Avoid leaving your order in hot or cold environments.

  • Follow the care sheet included with every order to keep your caterpillars and chrysalises safe.

Nationwide Shipping

  • We ship live insects nationwide where permitted.

  • Some species cannot be released in certain states due to regulations. Please check local guidelines before release.

Delays & Liability

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by UPS, weather, or incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

  • We pack each order with enough food and insulation to survive normal transit times.
